At GDC Barbershops, they’re taking haircuts to a whole new level with sports on the big screen, professional barbers who know their stuff, and services ranging from no-frills buzz cuts and classic barbershop treatments to the latest cutting-edge styles. With a relaxed atmosphere and free popcorn on offer, GDC knows how to treat people right.
Our approach to GDC’s website design took inspiration from photography and content supplied by the client. We designed and built the GDC website on WordPress so it would be easy for GDC staff to manage on their own following project completion. Easy to navigate, fast to load, and simple to manage – this website is just what the client needed.

GDC’s owner, Joseph Alves, approached Original Ginger to create a logo that would work for a wide range of applications, from storefront signage and wall murals to apparel. We wanted to keep it simple and recognizable from a distance but still have it look polished in smaller applications like on a baseball cap. Taking inspiration from vintage sports logos we created a logo that would fit right in with the shop’s ethos and appeal to sports fans coming through their doors.
