Making a Website That is “All That” and a Can of Worms.
Rocky Mountain Organic Supply is a small family-owned company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Established by father-and-son team Ken and Jay Williams, they supply organic farming products and specially cultivated worms to support organic gardeners, farmers and growers. As with many of our American clients, Ken and Jay came to us in need of a logo refresh, and a new, vibrant Ecommerce website that embodied their simple but powerful philosophy that healthier soil leads to healthier plants and a healthier planet.
You might think that conducting business with clients so far away might pose a challenge. However, with a little ingenuity and effective business tools such as Original Ginger’s toll-free number, conference calls, emails, and free online sharing apps, we were able to do all the work virtually, despite having never met our client in person.

Getting Fresh.
Because this was our first time building an online presence for an organic grower, we had no preconceived notions, and were able to approach this project with an open mind and a fresh approach.
Using an existing brand logo, we refreshed it, by assisting in the ideation of a new business name and strap lines. Then, we crafted a custom website that featured all new content, improved navigation, a new product catalog, an opt-in form, and ecommerce capabilities, so that their customers can shop online from anywhere in the USA. We also made the site ‘pop’ visually by using carefully curated stock images, supplemented with beautiful photography provided by Jay’s wife.
The client now has a website that feels organic and true to their message, but also in-line with their real-life personalities and business goals.
